I baked some ginger buns on Sunday and decided to share with you how I did so. Before I start, I would like to thank everyone who read my last post and has check out my blog. I can't thank you all enough. Also write in the comments or tweet me at @missbeautypieb what you want to me to write about next. So lets begin...
What you will need:
- 1 large mixing bowl
- Electric hand whisk or wooden spoon
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 teaspoon
- 1 jug (or something to measure liquid with)
- 1 baking tray/ bun tin
- 9- 14 bun cases
- 1 plate to put buns on after
Ingredients:
- 500g of ginger cake mix (I used Wright's)
- 200ml of water
- 60ml of vegetable oil
- Firstly preheat your oven at 160-180c or 325-350f
- Then, put the cake mix in to your large mixing bowl and then gradually add some of the water.
- Stir until the mixture has a sticky texture and if not, add a bit more water until it is right.
- Next add 3 tbsp of vegetable oil to the mixture and stir well.
- Get you teaspoon and put a heaped spoon full of the mixture on the spoon and spoon into the bun tin/ baking tray.
- Once you have filled the bun tin/ baking tray, put in your oven and cook for 10-15 mins.
- Take your buns out of the oven and enjoy!
Tip: if you still have mixture left over, why not bake a small cake?
I hope you all enjoyed these instructions and have a go baking these delicious buns.
